I became a councillor representing Castle Ward for the first time in May 2019. I currently chair the Town Council's Transport and Environment Committee and the Climate Emergency Steering Group. I am also a member of the Parking Management Forum and the Town Council's Support Services Group.

I believe the Town Council has an important role to play in leading Berkhamsted's response to the Climate Emergency and am passionate about our need to improve our engagement with local citizens and encourage participation in the Town Council's work.

I'm originally from South London but came to live in Berkhamsted in 2003 after 12 years in Hemel. My children have grown up here.

Professionally, I was a business change and HR consultant for over 20 years, working in private, public and not for profit organisations.

Apart from my Council work, I am a Trustee of Sunnyside Rural Trust and a long standing member of Transition Town Berkhamsted (TTB). I am in two book clubs, an album club and a brewing club and occasionally go running to offset the effects of one of those hobbies.
