I became a councillor representing Castle Ward for the first time in May 2019 and had the honour of being elected town mayor for 2022.

I believe the Town Council has an important role to play in leading Berkhamsted's response to the climate emergency and planning for the town's future. I am passionate about our need to support our vulnerable citizens and improve our engagement with local residents.

I'm originally from South London but came to live in Berkhamsted in 2003 after 12 years in Hemel. My children have grown up here.

Professionally, I was a business change and HR consultant for over 20 years, working in private, public and not for profit organisations.

Apart from my Council work, I am a Trustee of Sunnyside Rural Trust and a long standing member of Transition Town Berkhamsted (TTB).

In my spare time I am in two book clubs, an album club and am currently learning to play the saxophone.
