Serving the people of Berkhamsted

Councillor Nicholas Morrish

Councillor Nicholas Morrish

Nick is very much a local, born and brought up in Berkhamsted and in business locally for 37 years. He's a family man with two teenage sons. You'll see Nick on Sunday mornings managing his youngest son's football team for Berkhamsted Raiders. Britannia Gym is Nick's passion, a community boxing club that he started 20 years ago open to all, promoting discipline, health, and fitness. His family are keen fundraisers and supporters of the Hospice of St Francis and Cancer Research UK. They are part of the UWCB, a national organisation that has raised over £25million for Cancer Research UK.

Nick believes that sport is a positive way to tackle mens' mental health. By making sport more accessible he hopes to reach all those needing help. Breaking down barriers, opening up communication, and connecting people in town to one another is his focus; making people feel safe in their communities, in their town, in their workplaces and in their community groups.
