This year's Festival of Light is on Sunday 27 November 2022 from 3.30pm until 6pm.

Berkhamsted High Street will be closed from Castle Street to the Kings Road junction from 1pm to 7.30pm.

Stalls lining the High Street will be selling mince pies, mulled wine, festive arts and crafts, and much more!

The Elves' posting house will be at the Civic Centre where children can write or design a special message to Father Christmas.

Entry to the Elves' posting house is by ticket only so book your visit.

This year, on entering the posting house, if you bring a royal mail stamp, we are also giving you the opportunity to participate in the Royal Mail Santa reply, All letters with stamps will be posted. You will need to remember to also write your address on the letter paper we give you.

Please pick a time slot and make sure that your children are accompanied by an adult. (Adults go free).

Santa's Elves will be making sure that all the children entering the posting house can write, crayon or design a special message to Father Christmas and post it in the Christmas posting box. In order to ensure children can enjoy this event safely this year, entry must be booked and paid for in advance and you must book a time slot.

Disabled parking will be available at Water Lane car park.
