Information about public participation in the Town Planning meeting scheduled for 14th April 2020 at 7:30pm

In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, Town and Parish Councils are currently unable to hold physical meetings and are instead permitted to hold these via virtual means, which the Town Council plan to do where possible.

The next scheduled Town Council meeting is the Town Planning Committee, scheduled for the 14th April 2020 at 7:30pm. The agenda for this meeting is already on the Town Council website.

Members of the public are invited to attend all meetings of the Town Council and it has put in place procedures to facilitate this for virtual meetings.

To ensure that meetings run smoothly, we request that anyone wishing to attend the next Town Planning meeting contact the Deputy Town Clerk for the meeting log in details. To do this, please email deputyclerk@berkhamstedtowncouncil.gov.uk and confirm your name, your address in Berkhamsted and details of any applications on the agenda you wish to speak for/against. The Deputy Town Clerk will then respond to requests with the log in details. The cut off point for requests to join the meeting is midday on the 14 April 2020.

Alternatively, if you wish to comment on an application on the upcoming Town Planning agenda by email, please do so by emailing deputyclerk@berkhamstedtowncouncil.gov.uk by midday on the 14 April 2020. Email comments will be passed to the Town Planning committee ahead of the meeting.

Please note that during the meeting, members of the public will be muted until the Chair confirms it is their turn to speak on an application. Speakers are granted approximately three minutes to speak.
