THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CROSS OAK ROAD, BERKHAMSTED) ORDER NO.3 2022

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Cross Oak Road, Berkhamsted from its junction with Graemesdyke Road north eastwards to its junction with Oaklands, a distance of approximately 115 metres ("the Road"), except for access.

Ukraine refugee appeal

A local family with Polish family ties has launched the People of Berkhamsted's Ukraine Refugee Appeal. It aims to deliver donations to Ustron Refugee Centre in Poland, leaving on 9th April 2022. Donations will be accepted all this week at the Berkhamsted Waitrose store and also at the Sacred Heart Church, Park Street Wed 6th, Thurs 7th and Friday 8th April 2022. NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Chesham Road, Berkhamsted from its junction with A4251 High Street south westwards to its junction with Hilltop Road, a distance of approximately 550 metres ("the Road"), except for access.
