Ashridge Karate Academy
Ashridge Karate Academy (AKA) is a Goju Ryu Karate club based in a purpose built dojo at Ashlyns School in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. The club is run by Sensei John Foster, who is a 3rd Dan black belt and is affiliated with Goju-Ryu Karate-Do International (GKI) association.
There are two classes each Thursday evening throughout the year, for any level of karate student - juniors (8-15yrs) and adults.
Training at AKA karate club is based on traditional Okinawan training techniques - including kata, kumite and bag work. As well as focusing on discipline and the martial art itself, Sensei John makes the juniors class fun, including a warm up, highly interactive training with the use of hoops, cones, pads, gloves and further equipment to engage the student fully as well as refine the technique.

Adults: (15 yrs and above, depending on size and experience) 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
