Berkhamsted Festival of Light

26 November 2017

Sunday 26 November 2017 (from 3.30 pm until 6 pm) is the date for this year's Festival of Light. Please do come along and join in the fun and festivities. The High Street will be closed from Castle Street to the Kings Road junction from 1.30pm to 7.30pm. More »

There will be stalls lining the High Street selling festive fair, crafts, mulled wine and mince pies.

In the Civic Centre Mrs Claus will be looking after the Elves' Posting House and children can write, crayon or design a special message to Father Christmas.

This fantastic, family event takes place with the help of many dedicated voluntary organisations. It is also supported by Marks and Spencer, Waitrose and Tesco who provide refreshments for the many volunteers on the day. London Midland Railways also provide free parking in the station car park.

The Town Council would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone who contributes to the event making it the success it is.

The 2018 Boundary Review – Revised Proposals for new Parliamentary Constituency Boundaries

The consultation runs from 17 October 2017 – 11 December 2017. Copies of the revised proposals can be viewed at the Town Council Offices, Civic Centre, 161 High Street, Berkhamsted. Open 9am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm Monday to Wednesday and 9am – 1pm Thursday and Friday. More »
